MORE THAN JUST A WORKSHOP

Proworx Automotive has been locally owned and operated in Taupō since 2006. Led by Mark and backed by an experienced team, the workshop has built its reputation on practical knowledge, quality workmanship and straightforward advice.

What started with everyday automotive servicing and repairs has grown into a workshop capable of taking on everything from WOFs and diagnostics to performance upgrades, custom fabrication, dyno work and motorsport preparation.

For Mark and the team, cars aren’t simply a job. There’s a genuine passion for understanding how they work, solving problems and getting the best from every vehicle that comes through the workshop.

That passion also extends to motorsport, where Proworx puts its experience, fabrication and performance knowledge to work on the track.

FROM A KIWI GARAGE TO PROWORX

Built through hard work, determination and a genuine passion for cars.

Proworx Automotive started from humble beginnings — one man working from a Kiwi garage with a passion for cars and a determination to build something of his own.

Since then, Mark’s hard work has seen Proworx grow from a one-man operation into an established Taupō automotive business, with a skilled crew and a professional workshop servicing everything from everyday vehicles to performance and specialist builds.

But cars have never just been a job for Mark and his family.

Mark and his wife are both involved in the racing scene, taking their passion for cars beyond the workshop and onto the track. Now, the next generation is getting involved too, with the kids beginning to follow in their footsteps.

From the humble garage where it began to the workshop and race cars of today, Proworx has always been built around the same things:
